Which Orthodontic Option Is Best for You?

Are you searching for a straighter smile? If so, you’ve come to the right place. At Sycamore Hills Dentistry, we offer a variety of orthodontic options to fit your smile goals and budget. Today, we want to take a closer look at the three orthodontic treatment types we offer: conventional metal braces, Six Month Smiles® and Inman Aligners.

Conventional Braces

Conventional braces are a versatile way to treat a wide variety of alignment issues. They use a series of metal brackets and wires to gently shift your teeth into the correct alignment and can be worn anywhere from eighteen months to three years. Dr. Rorick turns to conventional braces for more serious cases, but patients also love conventional braces for their affordability.

Six Month Smiles®

Six Month Smiles are somewhat similar to traditional metal braces in that both use brackets and wires. However, the treatment uses an innovative technique that reduces treatment time to around six months. Even better, the brackets and wires are tooth colored to blend in with your natural teeth and provide almost no disruption to your appearance!

Inman Aligners

For folks who want a less intrusive orthodontic treatment, Inman Aligners may do the trick. These removable aligners use a system of coil springs to carefully shift your teeth into the correct position. In order to work Inman Aligners must be worn for at least sixteen to twenty hours each day. However, the aligners are easily removed during mealtime or for cleaning.
